The Meteorological and Hydrological Institute of Sweden has designed a web-based data presentation which allows ships’ charterers to find out the fleet’s location, the weather, waves and currents, and what freight the ship carried for its last journey. The master of the ship can also access the information on board. This has made shipping easier and safer.
