A new prize for innovation in transport and logistics has been introduced by CLECAT. CLECAT is a the European association for freight forwarding, transport, logistics and customs services; it was founded in 1958 in Antwerp and represents 22 national organisations for freight related businesses. The prize – which will be awarded at a special ceremony at the Leipzig 2009 International Transport Forum – is open to all sizes of operating companies and is open to companies who can show innovative ways of providing efficiency, competitiveness and environmental quality.
