Poland is one of the few countries in the world where transport and logistics seem to be flourishing despite depressing predictions for the rest of Europe.  GDP in Poland actually rose in the last quarter of 2008, in comparison to countries like Latvia and Germany where GDP fell. Export shipping to Poland seems to be growing, and companies offering forwarding and warehousing services are continuing to expand.  Nevertheless, the logistics sector has to look to its costs and be as efficient as possible.
