Freight Forwarders in China now have to adhere to a set of standards which govern service procedures, quality, terms and conditions, statistics gathering, freight forwarding qualifications and assessment criteria. The conditions were drafted by the China International Freight Forwarders Association with the aim of promoting fast development with healthy growth. There will be further regulations focussing on documentation, and leading to the establishment of a public freight forwarding information portal.
