The port operator for Stockholm freeport has been given permission to develop new container handling facilities at the Port of Nynashamn.  The port is in the Stockholm province, 60 km south of the city.  The new terminal will allow a quay length of 800 m with a depth alongside of 15m, and expected to be operational in 2012.
