Transport for London (Tfl) the body that is responsible for Transport within the Greater London area will create a Low Emission zone from February 2008. Within this zone which will cover most of Greater London Diesel Freight vehicles over 12 tonnes that do not meet specified emission standards will have to pay a daily charge. In the run up to 2012 TFL will both increase the number of different types of vehicles included and the severity of the emission standards.
