The Belgian Port of Antwerp will have the capacity to process 7.5 million TEU a year by 2008 when its new Deurganckdok terminal is fully open. This will effectively increase the Port’s capacity to handle freight containers by 100%. The whole  Antwerp Port facility handled 7 million TEU in 2006
