China is anticipating more spending on transport and infrastructure this year, but at a slower pace than last year.  This will include the port of Shangai, which is now the world’s busiest port. Chinese ports have not been expanding too quickly, as they are concerned that demand for exports to the USA may be decreasing.  Officials at Shenzhen port are concerned about excess freight capacity, and are reviewing expansion plans.
