Freight and logistics companies have joined car drivers in a peaceful protest at what they consider to be ‘profiteering’  by wholesalers.  A nationwide campaign organised via Facebook advised drivers to ‘go slow’ to demonstrate their anger.  Logistics firms are topping up their tanks continually in order to cause congestion at the pumps, whilst car drivers buy the minimum quantity of fuel and pay in small coins.
