Exports from South Korea are due to continue their downturn this month. This will be the tenth consecutive month, mostly driven by exports to China of semi-conductors, and it may take some time for exports to fully get on a recovery path.
There has been divergence between weak semiconductor exports to China and strong automobile exports to the U.S. and the European Union.
