China Imports: First chartered fruit ship of 2023 arrives in Shanghai

The year’s first batch of nearly 5-thousand tons of kiwi fruits from New Zealand has arrived at Shanghai Nangang port.

This marks the full recovery of chartered freight fruit shipments in Shanghai since COVID restrictions in China were eased.

Shanghai’s import and export value for the first two months was over 680 billion yuan, indicating that recovery is improving. The biggest shares were of import and export of automobiles and consumer goods like fruits.
