According to forecasts by a major sea freight carrier, the volume of global container traffic may decrease in 2023 by 2.5% compared with last year.

It is believed that the change in demand for container transportation in 2023 compared to last year will range from -2.5% to +0.5%, which is similar to the November forecast. China, is struggling, as are many emerging “vulnerable” markets as they enter a period of slow growth with high levels of debt.
