The government of Serbia said it has extended the temporary ban on exports of milk and dairy products until January 31. They adopted the measure to prevent critical shortages on the domestic market, it said in a statement on Thursday. Exports of milk and dairy products to North Macedonia and Albania are not covered by the ban.
The ban applies to all types of milk and butter in packages of over one kilogramme.
The government suspended exports of milk and dairy products at the start of September.
