People in China are seeking more high-end consumer goods. Their spending on both imports and foreign brands continues to be a key driver for inc reased consumption.
Young people aged between 26 and 35 are the major demographic interested in imports and foreign brands, accounting for nearly half among all age groups.
In addition, consumers between 46 and 55 have evinced increasing enthusiasm for overseas brands. Their spending on imports increased 283 percent in 2021 compared with that in pre-COVID 2019.
