Wines from the Dão region of Portugal recorded an increase of more than 20% in exports in the first quarter of this year compared to 2021, the president of the Dão Regional Wine Commission said.
This is “one of the regions that grew the most in terms of exports” and, currently, Dão is “more or less reaching the levels it had before Covid-19”.
Now, with the restrictions of the pandemic slowing down a little all over the world, “a recovery is taking place, not only in Dão, because all regions have grown and the country has grown” also.
