Over the last ten days Uzbekistan garlic exports have increased significantly. Uzbekistan exported 910 tons of garlic from 19 to 28 April 2022, which is 33 times more than on 1-18 April.
The peak export of winter garlic of the new crop, which was sown in August-September last year, has started. Mass exports began about 10-15 days earlier than last year. Peak exports of new-crop garlic from Uzbekistan in 2021 started in the first ten days of May.
The volume of fresh garlic exports from 19 to 28 April 2022 was almost 7 times higher than the total volume exported in April 2021.
