Japan has a ban on exports of luxury cars and other items to Russia as part of economic sanctions over Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The export ban will also cover jewellery and artworks.
The export ban aims to add pressure on oligarchs who have been supporting Vladimir Putin financially. The United States and other countries, including the UK have already taken similar measures.
