Ukraine has reportedly suspended exports of certain agricultural commodities and introduce licences for exports of others out of the war-hit country.
Ukraine media reports said licences are now needed to export five foodstuffs – wheat, sunflower oil, corn, chicken eggs and poultry meat.
Meanwhile exports of buckwheat, millet, oats, salt and sugar are suspended. Exports of four meat products – live cattle, frozen beef, meat and meat offal – are also banned.
A Ukrainian agri-food group, has stopped chicken exports because of logistical constraints linked to the war.
