Freight forwarders cease activities in Nigeria ports

Freight forwarders in Nigeria have blocked activities at the ports with protests at the Tin Can Island Port and PTML Terminals.
They are protesting about anomalies in the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) Valuation System policy of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) for vehicles imports

The 72 hours strike notice issued by all registered freight forwarding associations has expired.
