Cashew nut exports from Vietnam saw encouraging growth this year in spite of COVID-19 induced restrictions. There have also been shipping container shortages and rising logistics costs.

They exported 577,400 tonnes of cashew nuts for 3.63 billion USD in 2021, an increase of 13 percent and 12 percent, respectively, against the previous year.
