The head of Iran’s Food and Drug Organization has said that, in less than two weeks, Iran will no longer need Covid vaccine imports because domestic pharmaceutical companies will meet the demand.
The vaccine exports for which orders were placed will still be imported.
The minister said that vaccine imports constituted only 10 percent of the jabs provided for vaccination of citizens.

Domestic production of Covid vaccines and their imports in combination had accelerated the inoculation process in Iran.
