Thai health officials said the country would not fully meet its needs and would restrict the export of locally produced AstraZeneca corona virus vaccines.
Restricting exports will be a problem for Southeast Asian countries who have contracted to purchase vaccines produced in Thailand, but vaccines may be available elsewhere.
The director of the National Vaccine Research Institute, said that the Vaccine Commission had agreed to issue an order to temporarily restrict exports in principle. He did not provide details.
