During January-May 2021, up to 36.4 million bottles (0.75 l) of wine were exported from Georgia to 55 countries. This is 15% more than in the same period of 2020.

According to the National Wine Agency, the total revenue of wine exports amounted to USD 82.4 million, an increase of 8% over the same period last year.

As the Wine Agency notes in its statement, the top five Georgian wine importers are: Russia (increase 17%), Ukraine (increase 6%), Poland (increase 11%), China (decrease 3%), and Kazakhstan, (increase 80%).
