Indian solar panel manufacturers kept production levels steady despite Covid-19 lockdowns this year are experiencing fewer sales and rising input costs. Protective import duties are due to be wound down in late July.

Last year’s nationwide Covid lockdown has this year been replaced on a state-by-state basis, so manufacturers in regions less affected by the pandemic can continue operating under partial lockdown.
