A rail freight service from Russia to Vietnam has been successfully tested.
A shipment containing shampoos, soap, shower gels, creams and masks for face and hair arrived in the capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi on January 23 after setting off from Freight Village Vorsino, in the Kaluga region, Russia, 20 days earlier.
The shipment – which would have taken twice as much time to arrive by sea – is part of a cooperation between the two country’s national railways and marks the launch of the Vietnam-Russia-Vietnam freight transport corridor.
