All state-run organisations in Greece were on stop yesterday, as workers imposed a general strike protesting against government austerity measures.  The government has had to comply with EU requirements to reduce state spending as a requirement o a multi billion dollar EU bailout.

Vessels at ports are not being unloaded, and all transport and logistics services have been disrupted. Airports have reportedly not been affected, so presumably some air freight will reach Greece, even if it cannot be transported onward to its final destination.

This is the third major strike of the year, as workers show their disaffection with the Prime Minister betraying his pledge not to impose new taxes.
