China Opens new Rail Terminal
Operations have started at Chengdu Railway Container terminal, the largest rail hub in Asia. Direct container services have been launched to Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou; the Chinese government is planning to develop 18 similar terminals by the end of 2012.
