Beijing Olympics - freight restrictions
With the Beijing Olympics starting next weekend, shippers and importers should be aware that security will be stepped up and restrictions placed on the movement of hazardous goods. Every part of China has imposed different regulations for the period around and including the Games, but the Olympic towns of Shanghai, Tianjin, Beijing, Qinhuangdao, Qingdao and Shenyang are likely to have the most onerous conditions.
