Hapag-Lloyd AG has named her latest containership the “Tsingtao Express” after the old name of Qingdao, China. The “Tsingtao Express” will join the Europe-Asia liner service, and she will call at Singapore, Kaohsiung, Pusan, Dalian, Xingang, Qingdao, Shanghai, Ningbo, Port Kelang, Jeddah,Rotterdam, Hamburg and Southampton, completing a round trip voyage in 63 days. The “Tsingtao Express” has a carrying capacity of 8750 teus, a length of 335m and a beam of 43m and plug in points for 730 refrigerated containers.
